# Transfer an Item or Animal

### Aim

Efficiently and securely transfer custody of a single item, animal or plant with date, time, and GPS details being automatically recorded.

### Benefits

It is possible to transfer an item or animal without creating a consignment. The Aglive Platform can record a transfer when the person wanting to transfer the item or animal simply selects the item, animal or plant and then scans the ID of the person who will take custody of the item or animal. It is possible to also attach certificates and documents (such as an eNVD for cattle) and add that certificate or document to the record for each item, animal or plant.

### Steps

* Send an item
* Receive an item
