# Create Animal

Record the details of an Angus Verified animal so records such as weight, pregnancy and treatments the animal has received can be recorded for each animal

| Step | Action                                                                                                                                                                         |
| ---- | ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ |
| 1    | On the homepage, click on **Angus Verified**                                                                                                                                   |
| 2    | Click on **Record Animals**                                                                                                                                                    |
| 3    | On the **Create Mobs** page, under **Create Mob** tab, toggle to **Animal**                                                                                                    |
| 4    | Select **PIC number**                                                                                                                                                          |
| 5    | Enter **Visual Tag**                                                                                                                                                           |
| 6    | Select **Sex** as Steer or Female                                                                                                                                              |
| 7    | Select **Birth Year**                                                                                                                                                          |
| 8    | <p>Select Sire Options:</p><p>If <strong>Single Sire</strong>: Select <strong>Sire ID</strong></p><p>if <strong>Sire Group</strong>: Select <strong>Sire Group ID</strong></p> |
| 9    | Select **Breeder PIC Number**                                                                                                                                                  |
| 10   | Under **Birth Range by Month**, enter **Start Month** in mm/yyyy and **End Month** in mm/yyyy                                                                                  |
| 11   | Click **Next**                                                                                                                                                                 |

| 1            | On **Record Animal** page, under **Record IDs**, select **Manual Input** |
| 2            | Enter **NLIS ID**                                                        |
| 3            | On **Declaration** page, review the animal summary, birth range by month |
| 4            | Under **Declaration**, review all and tick checkboxes upon agreed        |
| 5            | Click **Save**                                                           |
| 6            | A **“Saved”** popup will display. Click **Close**                        |

| Step          | Action                                                                        |

| 1             | On **Record Animal** page, under **Record IDs**, select **Bluetooth Scanner** |
| 2             | Click **Next**                                                                |
| 3             | Select bluetooth device to pair and connect                                   |
| 4             | Once connected, "Bluetooth Connected" popup will display                      |
| 5             | Click **Start Scanning**                                                      |
| 6             | A progress bar of 1/1 indicates that the scan is successful                   |
| 7             | Click **Complete**                                                            |
| 8             | On **Declaration** page, review the animal summary, birth range by month      |
| 9             | Under **Declaration**, review all and tick checkboxes upon agreed             |
| 10            | Click **Save**                                                                |
| 11            | A **“Saved”** popup will display. Click **Close**                             |
