  1. Manage Sire Group

Add Sire to Group

Follow these steps to add a sire into existing sire group,

1. Joining Method: Natural

Step

Action

On the homepage, click on Angus Verified

Click on Sire Groups

On the Sire Groups page, click on Existing Group (right tab)

A library of groups will display

Select a group that has a natural joining method and click View

6

On the Sire Group Details page, click Add Sire

On the Add Sire page, under Joining Method, select Natural

8

Under Record IDs, select Angus Sire ID

9

Under Sire Selection table, select one or more Angus Sire ID

Click Save

A Confirm to Add Sire popup will display. Click Yes

A “Updated” popup will display. Click Close

On the Sire Groups page, click on Existing Group (right tab)

A library of groups will display

Select a group that has a natural joining method and click View

On the Sire Group Details page, click Add Sire

On the Add Sire page, under Joining Method, select Natural

Under Record IDs, select Bluetooth Scanner

Click Next

Select bluetooth device to pair and connect

Once connected, "Bluetooth Connected" popup will display

Click Start Scanning

A progress bar of 1/1 indicates that the scan is successful

Click Complete

A Confirm to Add Sire popup will display. Click Yes

A “Updated” popup will display. Click Close

2. Joining Method: Artificial Insemination (AI)

On the homepage, click on Angus Verified

Click on Sire Groups

On the Sire Groups page, click on Existing Group (right tab)

A library of groups will display

Select a group that has a AI joining method and click View

On the Sire Group Details page, click Add Sire

On the Add Sire page, under Joining Method, select Artificial Insemination (AI)

Click Next

On the Identify AI Sires page, under AI Sire Selection table, select one or more Angus Sire ID

Click Save

A Confirm to Add Sire popup will display. Click Yes

A “Updated” popup will display. Click Close

3. Joining Method: Both Natural and Artificial Insemination (AI)

Select a group that has a Both joining method and click View

On the Sire Group Details page, click Add Sire

Continue to add sires

Once connected, "Bluetooth Connected" popup will display

Click Start Scanning

A progress bar will display

Full progress bar will display when scanning reached at the number of sires being entered on previous page

Click Next

Continue to add AI sires

On the Identify AI Sires page, under AI Sire Selection table, select one or more Angus Sire ID

Click Save

A “Saved” popup will display. Click Close
