Add Animals to Mob

Animals can be added to an existing mob

1. Mob Sex: Steer or Female

Manual Input using NLIS ID

1. On the Aglive App homepage, click on Angus Verified

2. Click on Record Animals

3. On the Record Mobs page, click on Existing Mobs (right tab)

4. A library of mobs will display

5. Filter the mob by typing the Mob Name in the search bar

6. On each row, the mob details will display:

   • Mob Name

   • Number of Animals

   • Date Mob Created

7. Select a mob with sex as either Steer or Female, Click View

8. On the Mob Details page, click Add Animals

9. On the Record Mob page, under Record IDs, select Manual Input

10. Enter Number of Animals

11. Click Next

12. On the Input page, toggle the ID Type to NLIS ID

13. For each input, enter NLIS ID and Visual Tag

    • Note: Add only same sex animals as the mob's sex

14. Click Next

15. Repeat step 12 - 14 until the progress bar is full

16. The progress bar indicates when the scanning is successful

17. Click Complete

18. On the Declaration page, review the mob summary and birth range by month

19. Under Declaration, review all and tick each checkbox

20. Click Save

21. A Saved popup will display. Click Close

Manual Input RFID

1. On the Aglive App homepage, click on Angus Verified

3. On the Record Mobs page, click on Existing Mobs (right tab)

4. A library of mobs will display

5. Filter the mob by typing the Mob Name in the search bar

6. On each row, the mob details will display:

   • Mob Name

   • Number of Animals

   • Date Mob Created

7. Select a mob with sex as either Steer or Female, Click View

8. On the Mob Details page, click Add Animals

9. On the Record Mob page, under Record IDs, select Manual Input

10. Enter Number of Animals

11. Click Next

12. On the Input page, toggle the ID Type to RFID

13. For each input, enter RFID and Visual Tag

    • Note: Add only same sex animals as the mob's sex

14. Click Next

15. Repeat step 12 - 14 until the progress bar is full

16. The progress bar indicates when the scanning is successful

17. Click Complete

18. On the Declaration page, review the mob summary and birth range by month

19. Under Declaration, review all and tick each checkbox

20. Click Save

21. A Saved popup will display. Click Close

Bluetooth Scanner

Note: Please make sure your phone has already been paired to the Bluetooth device prior to setup

1. On the Aglive App homepage, click on Angus Verified

4. A library of mobs will display

5. To filter out the mob, type in the Mob Name in the search bar

6. On each row, the mob details will display:

   • Mob Name

   • Number of Animals

   • Date Mob Created

7. Select a mob with sex as either Steer or Female, Click View

8. On the Mob Details page, click Add Animals

9. On the Record Mob page, under Record IDs, select Bluetooth Scanner

10. Enter Number of Animals

11. Click Next

12. On the Scan page, select your device to connect and click Connect

    • Note: You may need to scroll your Bluetooth devices list to see the black Connect button at the bottom of this list

13. Once your device is connected, scan the RFID tag/s

14. A scan progress bar will display

    • Note: Add only same sex animals as the mob's sex

15. The progress bar indicates when the scanning is successful

16. Click Complete

17. On the Declaration page, review the mob summary and birth range by month

18. Under Declaration, review all and tick each checkbox

19. Click Save

20. A Saved popup will display. Click Close

2. Mob Sex: Mixed
