Add Sire to Group

Follow these steps to add a sire into an existing Sire Group.

1. Joining Method: Natural

Angus Sire ID

1. On the Aglive App homepage, click on Angus Verified

2. Click on Sire Groups

3. On the Sire Groups page, click on Existing Group (right tab)

4. A library of groups will display

5. Select a group that has a Natural joining method and click View

6. On the Sire Group Details page, click Add Sire

7. On the Add Sire page, under Joining Method, select Natural

8. Under Record IDs, select Angus Sire ID

9. Click Next

10. Under Sire Selection table, select one or more Angus Sire ID

11. Click Save

12. A Confirm to Add Sire popup will display. Click Yes

13. A Updated popup will display. Click Close

Bluetooth Scanner

Note: Please make sure your phone has already been paired to the Bluetooth device prior to setup

1. On the Aglive App homepage, click on Angus Verified

2. Click on Sire Groups

3. On the Sire Groups page, click on Existing Group (right tab)

4. A library of groups will display

5. Select a group that has a Natural joining method and click View

6. On the Sire Group Details page, click Add Sire

7. On the Add Sire page, under Joining Method, select Natural

8. Under Record IDs, select Bluetooth Scanner

9. Click Next

10. On the Scan page, select your device and click Connect

    • Note: You may need to scroll your Bluetooth devices list to see the black Connect button at the bottom of this list

11. Once your device is connected, scan the RFID tag/s

12. The progress bar indicates when the scan is successful

13. Click Complete

14. A Confirm to Add Sire popup will display. Click Yes

15. A Updated popup will display. Click Close

2. Joining Method: Artificial Insemination (AI)

1. On the Aglive App homepage, click on Angus Verified

2. Click on Sire Groups

3. On the Sire Groups page, click on Existing Group (right tab)

4. A library of groups will display

5. Select a group that has an AI joining method and click View

6. On the Sire Group Details page, click Add Sire

7. On the Add Sire page, under Joining Method, select Artificial Insemination (AI)

8. Click Next

9. On the Identify AI Sires page, under AI Sire Selection table, select one or more Angus Sire ID

10. Click Save

11. A Confirm to Add Sire popup will display. Click Yes

12. A Updated popup will display. Click Close

3. Joining Method: Both Natural and Artificial Insemination (AI)

1. On the Aglive App homepage, click on Angus Verified

2. Click on Sire Groups

3. On the Sire Groups page, click on Existing Group (right tab)

4. A library of groups will display

5. Select a group that has a Both joining method and click View

6. On the Sire Group Details page, click Add Sire

Continue to add sires

Angus Sire ID

1. On the Identify Sires page, under Record IDs, select Angus Sire ID

2. Under Sire Selection table, select one or more Angus Sire ID

3. Click Next

Bluetooth Scanner

1. On the Identify Sires page, under Record IDs., select Bluetooth Scanner

2. Click Next

3. On the Scan page, select your device and click Connect

4. Once your device is connected, scan the RFID tag/s

5. The progress bar indicates that the scan is successful

6. Full progress bar will display when scanning reaches the number of sires entered on previous page

7. Click Next

Continue to add AI sires

1. On the Identify AI Sires page, under AI Sire Selection table, select one or more Angus Sire ID

2. Click Save

3. A Updated popup will display. Click Close
