# Create Sire Group - Both

Make it easier to work with a mixed group of Angus Verified of both AI and natural sires by creating a group. In future, the sire group can be selected with just one click

## Joining Method: Both

| Step | Action                                                                                                                                                              |
| ---- | ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- |
| 1    | On the homepage, click on **Angus Verified**                                                                                                                        |
| 2    | Click on **Sire Groups**                                                                                                                                            |
| 3    | <p>On the Sire Groups page, select <strong>Calving Year</strong> from the dropdown</p><p>A default group label will be displayed according to the year selected</p> |
| 4    | Enter **Group Name**                                                                                                                                                |
| 5    | Enter **Number of Sires**                                                                                                                                           |
| 6    | Under **Joining Method,** select **Both**                                                                                                                           |
| 7    | Click **Add Sires**                                                                                                                                                 |

### Continue to record sires

| ------------ | -------------------------------------------------------------------------- |
| 1            | On the Identify Sires page, under **Record IDs**, select **Angus Sire ID** |
| 2            | Under **Sire Selection** table, select one or more **Angus Sire ID**       |
| 3            | Click **Next**                                                             |

| 1             | On the Identify Sires page, under **Record IDs**, select **Bluetooth Scanner**                             |
| 2             | Click **Next**                                                                                             |
| 3             | Select bluetooth device to pair and connect                                                                |
| 4             | Once connected, "Bluetooth Connected" popup will display                                                   |
| 5             | Click **Start Scanning**                                                                                   |
| 6             | A progress bar will display                                                                                |
| 7             | Full progress bar will display when scanning reached at the number of sires being entered on previous page |
| 8             | Click **Next**                                                                                             |

### Continue to record AI sires

| Step | Action                                                                                                 |
| ---- | ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ |
| 1    | On the Identify AI Sires page, under **AI Sire Selection** table, select one or more **Angus Sire ID** |
| 2    | Click **Save**                                                                                         |
| 3    | A **“Saved”** popup will display. Click **Close**                                                      |
