Create Mob

Create a mob to be verified in the Angus Verified program

Create a mob to be verified

Benefits

Once a mob is created, you can efficiently record key information about all of the Angus Verified animals in the mob

You can select the mob and automatically update all the individual details for all animal in the mob with just one click.

  1. On the Aglive App homepage, click on Angus Verified

  2. Click on Record Animals

  3. On the Create Mobs page, under Create Mob tab, toggle to Mob

  4. Select PIC Number

  5. Enter Mob Name

  6. Enter Number of Animals

  7. Click Next

  8. On Mob Details page, select Sex to be either Steer, Female or Mixed

  9. Select Birth Year

  10. Select Sire Options:

    • If Single Sire: Select Sire ID

    • if Sire Group: Select Sire Group ID

  11. Select Breeder PIC Number

    • Note: The PIC number that the mother of the animal was on when joined

  12. Under Birth Range by Month, enter Start Month and End Month in mm/yyyy format

  13. Click Next

1. Continue to Record Mob as Steers or Females

  1. On Record Mob page, under Record IDs, select Manual Input

  2. Click Next

  3. Toggle the ID Type to NLIS ID

  4. For each animal, enter NLIS ID and Visual Tag

  5. Click Next

  6. Repeat step 4 - 5 until the progress bar is full

  7. A full progress bar will display when the designated number of animals have been scanned

  8. Click Complete

  9. On the Declaration page, review the mob summary and birth range by month

  10. Under Declaration, review all and tick each checkbox

  11. Click Save

  12. A Saved popup will display. Click Close

  1. On Record Mob page, under Record IDs, select Manual Input

  2. Click Next

  3. Toggle the ID Type to RFID

  4. For each animal, enter RFID and Visual Tag

  5. Click Next

  6. Repeat step 4 - 5 until the progress bar is full

  7. A full progress bar will display when the designated number of animals have been scanned

  8. Click Complete

  9. On the Declaration page, review the mob summary and birth range by month

  10. Under Declaration, review all and tick each checkbox

  11. Click Save

  12. A Saved popup will display. Click Close

Note: Please make sure your phone has already been paired to the Bluetooth device prior to setup

  1. On Record Mob page, under Record IDs, select Bluetooth Scanner

  2. Click Next

  3. On the Scan page, select your device to connect and click Connect

    • Note: You may need to scroll your Bluetooth devices list to see the black Connect button at the bottom of this list

  4. Once your device is connected, scan the RFID tag/s

  5. The progress bar indicates when the scan is successful

  6. Click Complete

  7. On the Declaration page, review the mob summary and birth range by month

  8. Under Declaration, review all and tick each checkbox

  9. Click Save

  10. A Saved popup will display. Click Close

2. Continue to Record Mob with Mixed Sex Animals

  1. On Record Mob page, under Record IDs, select Manual Input

  2. Click Next

  3. Toggle the ID Type to NLIS ID

  4. For each animal, enter NLIS ID and Visual Tag

  5. Select Sex to either Steer or Female

  6. Click Next

  7. Repeat step 4 - 6 until the progress bar is full

  8. A full progress bar will display when the designated number of sires have been scanned

  9. Click Complete

  10. On the Declaration page, review the mob summary and birth range by month

  11. Under Declaration, review all and tick each checkbox

  12. Click Save

  13. A Saved popup will display. Click Close
