# Move Location

### Aim

Keep track of where your assets are by recording movements within your farm or facility.‌

### Benefits

Record the movement within a site when there are commercial or operational benefits from retaining a record of the current or previous location for that item, animal, group or mob. This information may be useful to prove things such as organic production history (e.g. grass fed or soil quality etc), chemical exposure, or to speed up compliance reporting in industries where location reporting is required.
