# Transfer a Consignment ### Aim Efficiently and securely transfer custody of a consignment with date, time, and GPS details being automatically recorded to the consignment record. ### Benefits Once a consignment is created, information regarding the chain of custody for the consignment can be recorded as the consignment moves along the supply chain. The Aglive Platform can record a transfer when the person wanting to transfer the consignment simply selects the consignment and then scans the ID of the person who will take custody of the consignment.
